The Plaice

16 Queen St, Bude EX23 8BB, UK – 01288 352746

Have to say we only started using this chippy this week, have no problems what so ever came in today to get my son some chips for lunch and have to say was very impressed with customer service as an elderly lady in front of me had ordered something to eat and was going to sit outside in the drizzly weather, when the man behind the counter went and brought her a table from outside inside so she could eat her food. Chips are nice like back home not hard like other chippy's we have used previously all I can say is 5stars guys.

The Mermaid Takeaway

2 Princes St, Bude EX23 8AT, UK – 01288 355056

Great fish and chips, batter thin and crispy, fish good quality and cooked perfectly. If you enjoy fish and chips by the seaside, when in Bude go to the Mermaid Takeaway, you won't be disappointed.

Very popular fish and chip shop. Great food and reasonably priced!

Rosies Kitchen And Starboard Wood Fired Bistro

Crooklets Beach, Bude EX23 8NE, UK – 01288 354238

Visited July 2018 and was seriously impressed. As well as great tasting food at fair prices, they really have thought of everything. A free water station, eco-friendly pacakaging, a park for kids, even a miniture toilet. Its on the beach with fab sunset views and we didnt wait long for our food on any of our 3 visits there. Definately recommed!

Rosies offers truly excelent food and a great range of beers and lagers. The food is broad ranging and special dietary requirements are also catered for. Parking is convenient for the restaurant and for Crooklets Beach. Outside seating is great in the summer and in the winter you can enjoy the dramatic scenery with a lovely hot chocolate. A quaint restaurant which oozes character. The staff are helpful and dogs are also welcome.
