The HIVE organisation is a worldwide tri-Service information network available to all members of the Service community. HIVE Information Centres offer an extensive range of information on the availability of unit and civilian facilities, local schools and further education, housing, healthcare facilities, employment and training opportunities, relocation and local interest.

The RAF Families Federation exists to provide an independent voice for the serving RAF and their families (spouses, partners, parents, children, siblings) on issues of concern to them. The team represents these views to senior RAF staffs and ministers.
The Federation operates outside the RAF chain of command and is managed as an independent organisation by the Royal Air Force Association (RAFA), a well-established and highly respected charity.
