FAB CLUB - (FAMILIES AND BREAKFAST)

EVERY THIRD SUNDAY Of the MONTH from 9.30am to 10.30am

We have made some changes to FAB Breakfast in order to cater for children across a broader age range and to provide parents/guardians with more  flexibility.

For children:

  • On arrival at 9.30am, the children will be provided with sausage and bacon rolls, fruit and drinks around tables in the Chapel room whilst the Christian teaching theme for the day is introduced or a video is shown.
  • When the children have had the food and drinks they want, they will break out into groups for craft activities, games, acting, singing.
  • Toys will be available for toddlers and babies and they are welcome to take part in the other activities as well with parental supervision.

For adults:

  • While the children are enjoying their activities, we would be delighted if parents/guardians/grandparents join us for a cooked breakfast, cereals and toast, tea,  coffee etc. in the Schoolroom.  Just chill out, enjoy the food and chat to your friends.  Sometimes, just before the end, there will be an opportunity to see and share in what the children have been doing. There is no fixed charge for the breakfast, we ask for donations towards expenses.
  • We recognize that it’s not always convenient for parents to stay for breakfast.     We are happy for children who are of School age to attend without their parents providing they are brought and collected by a responsible  adult and a parent/guardian has completed our registration and consent form.

Coffee Mornings

Held on Thursdays fortnightly. Attendance is
growing and ages range from 2 years to…………….quite a lot older!

Relaxed,  friendly and a great social event. Just drop-in anytime between 10.30am and 12 noon.  Have a look at the Church Diary for dates.

Café Church - 6.30pm (usually the first Sunday of the month - but check the calendar to confirm....sometimes it's on the last in the month, just t confuse!)

Informal worship with interesting speakers, quizes, videos, modern and traditionall music around tables over tea, coffee and biscuits.

Worship Lunch

Worship from 12pm to 12.30pm at tables, followed by a two course roast lunch.  Hugely popular event with a real community feel. Due to its popularity (and our need to know how many meals to provide!) prior booking is essential.

Contact Jeremy Ward or Len Davies via the Contact Page for more information or to book.

Messy Church

Runs at 5pm on the fourth Sunday of every other month. This is craft and activity-based worship with a tea for all ages. Great fun and vibrant. Months: January, March, May, July, September, November. We run Messy Church jointly with Week St Mary Parish Church.

Messy Church is a national movement. It is the church attempting to be church for families who might want to meet Jesus, belong to their local church and bring up their children as Christians but who don't like or can't cope with traditional Sunday morning church services.
