Alcoholics Anonymous is probably one of the oldest best known organisations in the field of Alcohol Addiction. They are effective because they have regular meetings for people suffering from Alcoholism. The meetings allow their members share their experiences, strengths and weaknesses with each other in order to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no membership fees for AA membership
